Multimedia Design

I have looked to extend my core abilities over the years, taking on challenging roles with organisations in which I have learned new skills and developed new applications and media in which to apply my existing knowledge.

From my earliest work, I worked with interactivity, navigation and motion. At Metro Press, I developed complex cross-media projects for large international organisations, maintaining identity and consistency in output to different media. I created interactive touchscreen applications, navigation to strict usability standards and published precise and extensive technical manuals. I created and embedded animations and video clips, but only where they were beneficial to the user.

Working in the ever-changing world of Glasgow TV production, I found many more avenues in which to contribute effective communications and develop my design arsenal. Video editing, web streaming, interactive animation and motion graphics are now part of the service I offer to clients and employers, while still integrated with traditional design for print or screen.
